Eager to move on, I never belong
This conversation's sinking its teeth in me
Eager to move, stop playing along
This conversation will be the death of me
Stay off the grid, close to no one
Stay off-axis, gravitate above the world
Silent and withdraw, waiting till you're gone
Your petty chatter is holding me in thrall
Silent and withdrawn, waiting till you fall
This sick optimism you're shoving down my throat
Stay off the grid, close to no one
Stay off-axis, gravitate above the world
In ataraxia, I'm silencing the world, in ataraxia
Stay off the grid, close to no one
There's nothing I miss from the noises of the world
These ballisticaly loaded tunes purposely deny a certain closure that is intended to keep one hitting the replay button. Well played Smirk, well played. jfpOne23
I know it's an obscure reference, but the singer reminds me of Anneke van Giersbergen from the Gathering. The singer of Romero is a highlight of the band's sound, and the power-pop tunes are driven by her. Looking forward to future releases of this band. Bart
