All this hustle, I thought it'd stop and
All of these doubts, I thought they'd fade
I could not be more wrong, we fidget like bugs
Swarm like a plague in the summer sun
I've heard that you've been looking for some
Well-deserved peace and understanding
Hold on to the rings
Under your eyes
I have a haven with your name on it
Where all of your burdens called it quit
Rest all you want, lean on me
I'll be around, count on me
Lay down your burden baby
Save your breath, that's on me
As long as you need me to be
I'll be around, count on me
Rest, baby, rest
Take your time but
Always aim for the best
I'll meet you down the line
Take care of yourself but face the facts
I'm no cure and you know that love can't heal
But you might find joy underneath
Rest all you want, lean on me
I'll be around, count on me
Lay down your burden baby
Save your breath, that's on me
As long as you need me to be
I'll be around, count on me
These ballisticaly loaded tunes purposely deny a certain closure that is intended to keep one hitting the replay button. Well played Smirk, well played. jfpOne23
I know it's an obscure reference, but the singer reminds me of Anneke van Giersbergen from the Gathering. The singer of Romero is a highlight of the band's sound, and the power-pop tunes are driven by her. Looking forward to future releases of this band. Bart
