A bag of chips, a flat soda
I take a handful
It's meaningless to count me out, I'm always out
You took your stuff out of this room
And yet it lingers...
How to get rid of all the small defeats
Is anything remotely real ?
I've been known for better things than this
Make it stop, kill the lights, kill the lights
I feel it all, kill the lights, kill the lights and
Make it stop, kill the lights, kill the lights
I feel it all, kill the lights
Everything is standing still, as you left it
This house is not a home when I'm alone
What is there to do but smile,
and hope for the best,
I can only look at you with weary eyes
Is anything remotely real ?
I've been known for better things than this
Make it stop, kill the lights, kill the lights
I feel it all, kill the lights, kill the lights and
Make it stop, kill the lights, kill the lights
I feel it all, kill the lights
These ballisticaly loaded tunes purposely deny a certain closure that is intended to keep one hitting the replay button. Well played Smirk, well played. jfpOne23
I know it's an obscure reference, but the singer reminds me of Anneke van Giersbergen from the Gathering. The singer of Romero is a highlight of the band's sound, and the power-pop tunes are driven by her. Looking forward to future releases of this band. Bart
